A Tribute To A Teacher

Rottweiler PictureBuddy is a Rottweiller that I adopted from the Pound.  They were going to put him down if I didn’t get him, so
my heart couldn’t stand for that to happen.    I’m in love with this breed.    The Rottweillers I had before
Buddy were abused to the point that in order to save them I had to have them professionally trained to teach
me how to handle them properly, so their lives could be saved.    When I got Buddy, I didn’t want to take him
that far, so with the knowledge I received from my other Rotts, I put it to good use with Buddy.  Buddy was
abused also.   I’ve never seen a Rottweiller, just being what they are suppose to be.      Buddy turned out
awesome.  I moved to the country, and he was a natural with horses.  He loved horses, cows, deer etc.   I
taught Buddy that cows, horses and deer were just big puppies.   Buddy liked to ride merry go rounds, go down
slides with the kids.  He loved life.  He was a natural protector, only when he had to be.  Buddy loved
everyone, and didn’t understand why everyone didn’t love him.  Buddy died 2 weeks ago, and I can’t begin to
tell you how much I miss him, and all those who knew Buddy miss him.  I wrote a tribute to Buddy and all the
things Buddy taught me about life.
 A Tribute To A Teacher
From July 1999 to July 27th 2006
3:00am
This teacher has been the most valuable in my life.
He taught me to continuously give love,
no matter the cost.
To be friendly, but cautious.
That Arguing was never worth it
because no one wins.
No matter what scars we have,
be them visible to the naked eye
or within us, don’t allow them to
entrap us from living to our potential
Live life to the fullest within your potential
and to explore what that potential is.
Life isn’t about material possessions, because he
had few. It’s about the unquestioning love that is
held within our hearts, called unconditional love.
This teacher was an extraordinary teacher
He is a Rottweiller Named BUDDY!
Buddy never knew he was a Rottweiller
he thought cows and horses were Big Puppies.
You could almost hear the rabbits laugh when you
let Buddy out in the morning, because Buddy
didn’t know he was suppose to chase them.
Buddy Loved Everyone, and everything in life
except water. He would not go swimming, and
dreaded bath time. As far as he was concerned
Water was made for drinking only.
He is a mighty warrior, protected me only when
necessary…
As I believe that we are sprits having a human experience
I also believe that animals are spirits having an animal
experience, loaned to us for our entertainment, and
to teach us their perspective of what and how life should be.
This is truly not the end of Buddy, as he will return
in spirit, protecting me now within spirit world continuing
to be the mighty warrior he was on earth.

Bubba and Blade

my story is about my two rotties, who are bubba and blade, they both are brothers and are 3 years old.
to me they are my children and they act like they are.
during the day i kennel them in there own bedroom, but recently they have been getting out, i work so they are alone for anywhere from to 8 to ten hours, so they have each other for company.  the only thing they manage to do is chew a few things. like my pillow or any stuffed animal they can find.
they have brought me so much joy into my life , escpecially unconditional love, if im having a bad day they are right there to put their head on my lap and it really soothes me. im home alone alot and they keep me company.
my one issue is they have a hard time walking on a leash or staying around the yard, i have a fenced in back yard, but it would be nice to let them out with me when im working around the house but im scared they will wander, is there any way to train them to stay in the yard even if their older. i would appreciate any advice you can give me.
as soon as i have pictures i can download i will send them of my boys.
thank,
linda
